The Irish Wolfhound Foundation

The purpose of the Foundation is to promote the appreciation, knowledge, and understanding of Irish Wolfhounds by raising and allocating funds for research, education, and rescue.

The Irish Wolfhound Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of the Irish Wolfhound. We conduct health studies, run health screening clinics at IW specialty shows and gatherings, disburse grants to IW-related research, sponsor educational seminars, and coordinate and fund rescue efforts.

The IWF was founded in 2002 through the efforts of Phillippa Crowe and other visionaries in the IW community. We are grateful to our founders and supporters for their dedication to our beloved Irish Wolfhound breed.
